Phil Conroy (vocals, bass) Phil has been performing professionally in the Western New York area for many years with many diverse bands and projects. Starting out on guitar, Phil soon learned to appreciate the underpinnings of sub-sonic low end in the band context.... and proclaimed himself a "bass player".
The most notable of the gigs Phil was in were an international
touring outfit called "Czar" who played incessantly throughout the
70's in WNY as well as the east coast and Canada. Following that, Phil
established a cover band that enjoyed many years on the circuit with the name
"Morningstar". A
few years later, Phil was a part of an original project called "Ego Jonz" who
released the cd "Dog Day Universe" where some of his writing was
included. Ego
Jonz also won a Buffalo Music Award for best new artist in 2000.
Following this, Phil again picked up his bass and joined the local favorites
"Nobody's Chyld". Walking into a local establishment one eve, Phil happened upon Randy and Mike performing and with little prompting he found himself playing bass and adding harmony with them. .
